BUSHVELD COMBO SAFARI: In recognition that many clients simply want to “do it all,” BUSHVELD SAFARIS has originated the COMBO SAFARI, an economic way to combine both a game hunting and a photographic adventure. The COMBO SAFARI, has particular appeal for clients who face time constraints, but who still want a broad Namibian experience. The popular 10-day/9-night COMBO SAFARI, offers two options with both including three meals a day (excluding alcoholic drinks and mixers) while in camp and transportation. Option 1 includes desert/coastal sightseeing combined with hunting for two upland species (1 kudu and 1 oryx). In general, you will be met at the airport or your hotel on Day 1, driven to the camp and treated to a southern African braai. On Days 2, 3, 4, and 5, you will get serious, sighting in your rifle or bow and hunting kudu and oryx. You will drive to the coast through the Namib Desert on Day 6, and spend the evenings of Days 6, 7, 8 & 9 at our private Bed & Breakfast in Walvis Bay. Transportation will be provided for you to dine at nearby restaurants on the evenings of days 6-9 at your expense. On Days 7-9 you will tour Walvis Bay, famous for its flamingoes and other bird life, take a quad bike tour through the sand dunes (weather permitting), visit and shop in the quaint Germanic town of Swakopmund, and tour the Cape Cross Seal Colony and a portion of the Skeleton Coast. You will be returned to your hotel or airport on Day 10. The rate for 10-day/9-night Option 1 BUSHVELD COMBO SAFARI is US$ 4,800 per hunter, sharing. An accompanying non-hunting guest is US$ 2,000 less.
The Option 2 package duplicates Option 1, but the photographic tour focuses on Etosha National Park (3 nights) and bushman paintings. The cost of the Option 2 COMBO SAFARI, is US$ 5,800 per person sharing, less US$ 2,000 for a non-hunting guest.
Exclusions noted under HUNTING SAFARIS & FEES will apply.
